Begin with the right questions.

Prepare the product facts
Before applying a framework, record who provides the credit, the borrower type, amount, term, interest, fees, channel and intermediary involvement. Describe deferred-payment arrangements and the delivery-to-payment timeline. Keep assumptions distinct from verified facts.
Keep a research record
For each question, record the jurisdiction, source provision, source status, date checked, product assumption and responsible reviewer. If a national instrument has not been verified, mark the finding unresolved. An unknown status should remain visible until the source supports a conclusion.
