Inventory the real communication
Collect paid advertisements, landing pages, intermediary copy, emails and in-product promotions. Record the audience, product, jurisdiction and placement. Capture variants such as shortened mobile copy, cropped images and translated versions. A central approved headline cannot explain whether a particular channel delivered the necessary surrounding information. Keep a reference to the final rendered communication rather than only a draft design file.
Create a review brief
List the claims made, the cost or repayment figures shown and the evidence supporting each claim. Record which jurisdiction-specific advertising requirements need legal review. Market A and Market B approaches must be researched separately. Identify dependencies such as a product price change, a new promotion period or a different target audience. Treat those dependencies as review triggers so the approved communication does not silently become outdated.
Approve the version that ships
Give each version a stable identifier, approver and permitted use. Record whether the approval covers a channel, a language or a defined campaign period. Review dynamic fields such as rates and examples separately from fixed copy. Test the link destination and the transition into the application journey. A broken destination or a different product behind the advertisement may undermine the usefulness of an otherwise careful review.
Maintain a release and withdrawal record
Keep the release date, destination, owner and withdrawal process together. When a campaign changes, preserve the previous communication and the reason for the change under the approved retention policy. Sampling should examine live versions and distributor use, not only the internal asset library. This workflow is an editorial control pattern; a qualified reviewer must determine the requirements for the product and jurisdiction.
